Bookmark Dump: Rainbow zipper pouch, Star Wars pegboards, and a pugnecklace

I may have changed blog names, but pugs are still one of my favorite dogs.
Look at this pug necklace from Finest Imaginary!

Dying yarn with Kool Aid in the crock pot.
Looks cool, but I'd worry about the color leaking out on my furniture or clothes.

I'm sick to death of hearing about it already,
but Google Reader is shutting down; here are the best alternatives.

Such an adorable and super quick crochet project: Playing with plants.

This post on Lulu Loves makes me so excited to make cushions and pillows.

  4. I did kool-aid dyeing once but I used the microwave rather than a crockpot. It sucked up the color remarkably well and I didn't have trouble with it bleeding on things shockingly. I've also done yarn dyeing/hand-painting with Jaquard dyes. It's fun but SO MUCH WORK. It gives you a much greater appreciation for all those hand-painted sock yarns that cost $20-40/hank. You couldn't pay me enough! ;)
