Our 2016 Christmas Cards and Ornaments from Shutterfly

I've been so excited to send out our Christmas cards this year since taking our family photos in October. I probably spent way more time on them than I'd like to admit, not because it was hard to put together, but because I just kept changing my mind on the layout! There were so many fun ones to choose from. Not to mention, I couldn't decide which picture of Lachlan to include because they were all pretty cute. I'm so happy with the result.

This card had the option to add a photo to the back with a custom message. And I chose to have it printed on matte finish cardstock. I ordered 35 copies, but I had two Black Friday coupon codes that were applied at checkout so I only paid for 5 of them plus shipping! Score!

Now on to the ornaments!

I loooooove Christmas ornaments. I try to get one from each place we visit for vacations. And now, I like to make a photo ornament for each year! These ornaments are beautiful. The ones I've been getting from Shutterfly are metal and come in a little silk pouch for storage. Last year's was the first one I made and I was so impressed with the quality of it, I knew I wanted to make it a tradition to make a family ornament every year.

The left and middle ornaments are mine, and the one on the right are the ones we made for the Grandparents this year.

And of course they have a back too!
