What's on my hook: Ombre ripple blanket

I feel like I've been on a crochet marathon to see just how much I can do before the baby comes. I blame this in part on people telling us over and over again that we'll never get to do X again as well as on some sort of weird nesting/crafting instinct. So I wanted to make a new blanket for the couch and I have to say, it was the fastest one I've ever made. It still took over 2 weeks but when it comes to me and blankets, it usually takes much longer than it should because I get bored. Actually, I did make those cabled beanies in between finishing the blanket, so I guess I still did get bored, but that's just how fast I was going. I'm on crochet hyper speed.

Anyway, here's my blanket! I like how nice and solid it is. I wanted something completely easy to make without having to think about a pattern. The entire time I was like, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 123, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 321. That's the pattern haha. And each color is 10 rows of DC. Base chain is in a multiple of 16 +2.

All yarn is from Knit Picks (affiliate link) in Brava Worsted colors: Asphalt, Silver, Dove, White, Cream, Custard, Avocado, Peapod, and Tranquil.
Hook used was size I (5.5mm)
Finished size is 40in x 50in
