Yarn Crush - August's box and 10% off your first month

Oh my gosh, another subscription box....for yarn...one of my ultimate favorite things in the world. It feels like Christmas!

Ok, so with Yarn Crush, each month (or bimonthly, if you choose) here's what you'll receive:

  • At least one or two full sized skeins of premium yarn

  • A knitting pattern (crochet patterns are coming in October!)

  • All the notions you need to complete your project

  • A little bonus gift

  • Shipping is free the first month and Yarn Crush ships worldwide!

  • Total value of each box is worth well over the $32.99 monthly fee (August's box was worth $67)

I think I was just as stoked with August's row counter bonus gift as I was with the pretty yarn!

So in August's box, I received a skein of SweetGeorgia merino silk lace (756 yards), two bottles of seed beads, a knitting pattern, and a bright pink row counter with a back light. It's so adorable.

I will most likely be on the hunt for a crochet pattern to make a shawl with this yarn. But here's what the knitted shawl pattern looks like:

And now for a coupon:

Yarn Crush has a coupon for %10 off your first box if you use this link when you sign up! It's $32.99 a month or $34.99 bimonthly.

In conclusion:

I have to say this box really packs a punch in what you get for your money. It's colorful, the products aren't cheap, and the packaging is fun. And once crochet patterns become available, I'm going to seriously consider signing up for a few months. I do wish there were more subscription options available that give you a small discount for buying in bulk, like with a 3 month subscription or something like that. But Yarn Crush is still relatively new so I will be anxiously awaiting to see how the company grows over time.
