Mad about Mandalas

A few weekends back I sat and made three mandalas. They are so incredibly fun and therapeutic to make! They make pretty table covers where you could set a lamp or a plant on one. And I have plans on making some wall art eventually (I'm working on them now and have been sharing my progress on Instagram). But for now, here's a set I made with a free pattern from Lizzie Bella. I only altered round 3 to be more open between the stitches in that round.

Mandalas make great stash buster projects, however, now I want to buy an entire rainbow of colors so I can go nuts with color schemes.

The yarn I used was Wool of the Andes from Knit Picks and I used a 4.5 mm hook.

  5. These are SO pretty. You're so freakin' talented, I can't stand it! Haha. I especially love the one that's shades of red! I'm working on a knitted afghan right now that has this hue-shift thing going on (it was a kit from KnitPicks). But with the baby and work ... I rarely have time to work on it, which bums me out :(
