My first Darby Smart Box + 10$ off your order
Look what I made! I made this stencil tote from a kit put together by Darby Smart. It's a service that puts together fun DIYs and ships them to your door. That, my friend, is my ultimate favorite type of box. It isn't a subscription box where you don't know what you'll get each month. Instead you can browse their many kits online and pick the one you want when you want. So I chose this stencil tote.
They send you everything you need to make your project, including photos and instructions and the prices are pretty reasonable. In my eyes, it's all about the convenience and not having to scour the craft store for supplies because everything is included in one box. The prices for each kit varies depending on the type of project it is and any tools included so this is good for crafters who are on a budget.
There's also a box available aimed towards teens that is a subscription box called Darby Girl. I'm not sure what those projects are like since I can't seem to find any past boxes but they are available in bi monthly, 6 and 12 month subscriptions.
I really love the idea of craft kits like this. I'll definitely be buying more from Darby Smart in the future!
I purchased this kit on my own and was not compensated for writing this post but I did include my affiliate link!

I love it! Much prettier than my recycled brown paper bags that are currently home to my afghan crochet project!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea, this makes it very convenient to try DIY projects... I have only tried a handful of DIY projects and almost 90% of them I never have tried due to the fact of trying to find the supplies to put together the project. Thank you I will be checking this out!

ReplyDeleteI love Darby Smart! I've gotten several of their kits and they are all really well done! I love the Crochet or Die bag!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cool! I feel like I NEED my very own "Crochet or Die" bag now
ReplyDeleteI got one of those from Klout or Influenster or Bzz Agent and it was pretty neat. I received a clutch with DIY studs. It was definitely something that I would want to try more of.
