Crochet Mood Blanket - February's progress
Here's February's squares!
At this rate, I'm going to have to order new yarn every month! I ran very low towards the end of January and ordered my second batch a week into February. I'm a few squares behind if I'm sticking to one a day, but at this point I don't really mind. My main goal is to get to 108 squares before the end of the year. It's the joining that will take FOREVER! (Click here to see where I was at in January).
I've had my sister and Brian both choose colors schemes for some of the mixed squares. I like doing it that way because I tend to always choose the same 3 or 4 colors but this way I can get a better more random mix.
And here's all 46 total so far (it sure felt like I made more than 46!)
Monty is impressed.
And I mentioned the details in January's progress post, but here they are again anyway:
Yarn used: Deborah Norville Everyday Soft Worsted
Hook size: 4.5mm
Pattern: Willow block by Jan Eaton
Border pattern: From Annie's Place.

I'm impressed, too! :) Beautiful color choices!
ReplyDeleteThis looks so awesome!! It's my favourite out of all the mood blankets I've seen.... love the pattern and the colour combos :)
ReplyDeleteLooking beautiful! I'm loving the pattern - and great colors.
ReplyDeleteIt looks wonderful - those colours together makes it all pop out so well. While I love crocheting squares, the sewing/joining part really drains me!
ReplyDeleteLove your colors..... Don't give up.... it's looking good....
