Bookmark Dump: Cool podcasts, interview with #crochetmoodblanket2014creator, frozen bubbles, and more!

Hello! It's Friday thank the Universe. I hate how much I live for the weekends. This week was crazy but crazy in the emotional and mental way. We are *this* close to making a final decision on our situation with Brian's layoff and where we will end up moving to. Either way, we'll have to sell this house. And no matter what we pick, there's going to be something we are giving up (money or nearby family) and it's driving me INSANE. We talked a lot about it and I am about 80% set on the decision we have currently come to but who knows what it will be next week. I'll share more when we know for sure what will be happening because all this in-between is stressing me the hell out. Anyway, besides that, I've been having so much fun with my crochet mood blanket that I can't make just one square a day. I am in LOVE with my yarn and the pattern I chose for my squares...more on that in it's own post too.

I'm always looking for new podcasts to get through my mind numbing job and these look good.
Best podcasts for commuting and traveling.

My crochet friends will appreciate this: How to design a hat: the math.

And while we're on the topic of crochet real quick, if you are making a crochet mood blanket, read the interview with the creator on Mon Makes Things.

These are the cutest recipe cards to print at home! Too bad I hate cooking but they are adorable.

Such a cool idea: Frozen bubbles in winter.

I think about this all the time when I look at my dog pack...This descended from wolves:

-----

I fucking hate lists like this that tell me what to do - 7 things you totes need to stop saying if you're over 30.
Most of these are annoying I admit, but if I want to say "I know, right?" or any of the rest of them, I totes will. What's so wrong with that? Pull the stick out of your adorbs ass.

Which words originated in your birth year? Mine was "downloadable." I know, right??

  1. Oh man, over the holidays I totally forgot about your whole layoff thing, sorry you're still dealing with all that. I hope you can find the positive in whatever decision you guys make!

  4. Just saw this -- thank you for sharing, Alycia!! I was actually stalking you to see if you had done a post on your gorgeous squares yet, but I guess I'll have to stalk Instagram instead. ;)
