What's on my hook: A granny stripe baby blanket

My husband's cousin's wife had her baby shower last month and besides getting something off her registry, I made her this granny stripe baby blanket. When she was at our house for our Labor Day BBQ she saw a few of my blankets and said how much she'd like one so I got to work! I didn't use a pattern, just improvised and alternated colors every two rows. The border was just a simple scallop.

    I just made one for my friend having a baby too - blankets are the best gift I think :)

    That baby blanket looks so nice and soft. What a great gift, and in addition to something off of the registry! Very thoughtful. :)
